Paper-based compliance, at scale
UK HGV operators run their O-licence compliance on paper: walkaround checks, defect reports, maintenance records and proof of delivery scattered across clipboards and spreadsheets. It's slow, error-prone, and a liability at DVSA audit time.
What we built
One product, end-to-end
We designed and built HauliK end-to-end — a multi-tenant web platform for the fleet office plus a fast, offline-first driver app. Drivers complete DVSA-aligned walkaround checks, capture defects with photo evidence and GPS timestamps, and log jobs and POD from the road; the office gets live visibility, expiry alerts, and one-click PDF exports for audits.
matmad delivered the entire product: the multi-tenant SaaS platform, the native driver app for iOS and Android, the billing and subscription tiers, and the marketing website — as a single team, end-to-end.
